THEDUNGEON: New Year Sale & Inventory Add

To make room for new inventory and to get a jumpstart on funding 2024's multitude of projects, all orders from The Dungeon are now 25% off storewide (automatically applied at checkout); additionally, all current Engraven releases in stock (excepting the Texas DS compilation) are only $3!

These sales will run through at least the end of the year

Very limited quantities of some new Elyvilon merch have been added to the Shoppe Inventory: the last remaining copies of the Full Moon over Yuletide Eve tapes recently reissued by Dungeons Deep, as well the four-panel Yuletide longsleeve shirts, of which I only have x10 in large and x5 in x-large. I still have a handful of the Full Moon over Yuletide Eve CDs released by Barrow Hoard available too. Lastly, I'll be adding the final records leftover from a previous Austin-based music vending venture to the Shoppe over the break -- nothing exceptionally Dungeon-centric, mostly blues and psych (aka "Austin music").

2023 was a year of intense plan-making and path-setting; 2024 looks to be where feet meet ground running -- in addition to organizing (and often playing) weekly live shows at the Tiny Minotaur, I look forward to moving The Dungeon inside the Tavern and building out the full, permanent Music Shoppe as interior work is completed over the next couple months; all in anticipation for the looming monolith of revelry awaiting in May: Texas Dungeon Siege.

A clarion call to all who would practice the dark dungeon arts in live performance: follow the torchlight to the Tiny Minotaur ... get in touch and let's arrange for you to come play next year

I will also be hard at work in '24 releasing new albums through Engraven (and revisiting a few Mystic Timbre classics); acquiring and distroing new/old releases from allies like Realm & Ritual, Moonworshipper, Voices of the Ainur, and Barrow Hoard; proliferating the manufacture of DIY tape/cd releases for labels like Barrow Hoard and artists like Mortwight; working on the soundtrack/fx for a video game being created by a local dev; and developing the sound/music/audio-immersive components of a new venture I am calling 'DnDJ' w/ the Downtown Austin Roleplaying Coalition, where I score and cue ambient + environmental loops & sound fx in realtime for DnD sessions run by Austin's most esteemed DM/GM: Vino Veritas.

An immense chant of gratitude and love to all who have supported, directly or indirectly, any of my growing list of projects in the past year: Apoxupon; Lost Tales; Engraven; Tiny Minotaur; The Dungeon Music Shoppe; Dungeon Synth Nights -- there is a truly remarkable community growing, and I am indescribably elated to be a part of it and excited beyond measure to see what greater shapes it will take in the New Year.

Love, light, perma-night, and eternal hails,

- Anthony
